Connecting Europe Facility
The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) is a key EU funding instrument to promote growth, jobs and competitiveness through targeted infrastructure investment at European level. It supports the development of high performing, sustainable and efficiently interconnected trans-European networks in the fields of transport, energy and digital services.
New call 2016
The current CEF Telecom call (CEF-TC-2016-2) invites proposals to undertake actions contributing to the deployment of European Digital Service Infrastructures in four different areas, each with an indicative maximum budget:
- eDelivery: allowing for the secured, traceable cross-border transmission of electronic documents – 0,5 million of euros
- eIdentification & eSignature: enabling cross-border recognition and validation of eIDs and electronic signatures in line with the eIDAS (electronic Identification and trust services) Regulation – 4,5 million of euros
- European e-Justice Portal: providing information and services in the judicial area - 2 million of euros
- Public Open Data: generating value through re-use of public sector information – 3,5 million of euros
Proposals must be submitted before 15 September 2016.
